 The church has a strong action base.
• Within it's offices, help and support are provided tochildren and their parents through Childcare and parenting courses.
• Homeless people are helped and supported through,
an independent Christian Charity called CARE that is actively supported by City Church.

SOS: Special Outreach Support
In recent months people have contacted us with their own SOS message at a time of stress or difficulty. We have responded quickly and tried to help. Here are some examples of the support we have been able to give:-
• Acting as mediator between anxious mother and vulnerable teenage daughter who has suddenly left home.
• Co-ordinating multi agency help to prevent a single mum being evicted from her home.
• Visitation and support during the last few months of a person’s earthly life.
• Responding to a request by a person concerned that their neighbour is mentally ill and has fallen through all the safety nets of community care.
• Performing ‘home blessings’ upon moving into a new home.
• Dealing with unexplained disturbing happenings in a home.
We do not claim to have all the answers, but we do care about your welfare and will use the expertise and networking experiences we have to help you in your time of difficulty and stress.
